The annual Undergraduate Summer Research Conference is almost here. This year students are bringing exciting new projects ranging from implantable chips for the human brain to Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAVs).
Through the funding programs NSERC USRA and LURA (Lassonde Undergraduate Research Awards), students were matched with professors and competed for research positions. The 39 winners include three international students as well as students from other Ontario Universities. More information on the projects can be found here.
Lassonde will be hosting the 2017 Undergraduate Summer Research Conference on August 15 in the Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence. The one-day conference will feature students’ research through oral presentations and posters. If you are interested in participating visit the About page to learn more.
