We are pleased to announce that the date for the conference has been set to August 15, 2017. In order to participate please read below to get started.
Last day to Submit your bio is June 16, 2017 (late submissions will not be accepted)
We have sent out emails regarding the submission of your bios, please complete the applications if you have not done so already. Keep in mind there is a strict format i place that all students must follow when writing, which can be accessed by clicking here. If you fail to submit your bio as per the template, you will be asked to resubmit correctly.
Students photos will be taken from June 26 – 29, 2017
We will be sending out a schedule shortly, please be on the lookout for any emails regarding the subject in the next 2 weeks.
Last day to submit your abstract is July 16, 2017 (Extension deadline)
You will get the chance to choose if your wish to be considered for an oral presentation. The abstract application will only be available to student who have already submitted their bio application before the deadline.
You will be notified about whether you will be giving a poster or a talk

Thank you to those who were able to attend today's orientation session! Here are some additional pieces of information:
- If you've taken WHMIS I online training in the Fall as part of your course, please notify your supervisor, as this should be sufficient for this year (if you are in an office/computer lab setting).
- (For York U students only) Use this link to have your stipend payment transferred from your student account to your bank account: http://sfs.yorku.ca/refunds/request -
**UPDATE - use this link to set up direct deposit (if you don't already have it set up for your student account). Your award will be processed on the 15th of every month, and the transfer to your bank account will be done by the Scholarships and Bursaries Department at York - you DO NOT need to do anything for the money to be transferred to your bank account.

April 27, 2017:
(1) We will be holding a mandatory orientation session to help settle you into your new position and ensure a successful experience. You need only attend one session:
Tuesday May 2 from 10 - 11 am (Room 125, Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence)
Tuesday May 9 from 10 - 11 am (Room 3033, Lassonde Building)
(2) If you are planning to register for a course during the tenure of the award, you need to discuss this with your supervisor, get approval, and submit the provided form to the Dean's Office.
April 4, 2017: Students should receive contracts from supervisors this week. After the contract has been reviewed and signed, please drop off a copy to the Dean's Office (Room 204, Bergeron Centre) or e-mail to email@example.com by Wednesday April 12.
March 24, 2017: Applicants have been notified by e-mail of competition results. Acceptance forms are due March 29, 2017 - please drop off in person to the Dean's Office (Room 204, Bergeron Centre) or e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.

February 17, 2017: be please advised that in addition to submitting your application as one PDF [Research Interest Statement (using template provided), Form 202 parts I and II, CV], please also submit one hard-copy to your supervisor's department.
